About Us
The Health Students' Society (HSS) is an undergraduate faculty society which represents current students enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences and majoring in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Medical Sciences, Microbiology and Immunology, Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, Pharmacology and Population Health.
We organise a variety of different social and academic functions, where you can connect with fellow students, and network with important industry members. We also help look after student welfare with a wide range of initiatives and activities.
Our aim has been to enrich the curriculum, create opportunities for students, and build a fun, safe and engaging culture within our student body. We encourage students to make the most of their time on campus and of the university life, and offer a support network for health undergraduates whist helping raise the profile of the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree to potential employers.
